The Alumni Band performs some of the greatest hits of jazz music. Yes, the tradition of Mustang Jazz - swinging in that solid, jaunty style - always exciting and refreshing.  The Alumni Band not only performs for football fans on the Boulevard and the Indoor Practice Center, but provides support for basketball fans at home games during the winter break when the current Mustang Band members are home for the holidays.

Membership is open to ALL former members of the SMU Mustang Band.

Thursday, October 31:

Time: 7:00P Alumni Band Rehearsal - Mustang Band Hall 

All alumni are invited to the Band Hall to practice charts to be played at Homecoming. Bring your horn and we'll have music charts ready or you. We'll be playing "Christopher" on the field and Charles wants alumni soloists.  (Participation in this rehearsal is not required to participate on Saturday)

Saturday, November 2:

TBD Alumni Band Rehearsal  - Ford Stadium

Game day Marching Rehearsal of the Alumni Band and current SMU Mustang Band
Alumni Band uniform – blue shirt, khaki shorts/pants

Post-Game Get-together TBD
